HR Development Program in Workplace

I&R is involved in Human Resource Development consultancy services, research, needs assessment surveys, and provision of professional counseling. We conduct departmental needs assessment surveys to enable us design appropriate and effective training programs that help resolve or manage workers’ challenges.

Because we are a firm of experienced and competent trainers we approach training with the outcome in mind. We understand that people need to be motivated and they yearn for someone who can help them discover and unleash their potentials hidden by past and painful experiences. With these facts and reality in mind, our training focuses on helping individuals gain insights and identify issues that block their vast potential and self-actualization tendencies.

Our training methods and techniques are experiential and help trainees take a journey into their own lives through a process of self-exploration. The journey of self-discovery and acquisition of insights marks the beginning of self-directedness, a strong sense of personal responsibility and a forward thrust toward self-actualization. By the end of training, individuals are self aware and have discovered various blocks in their own life, can make informed decisions, and are able to immediately apply the knowledge acquired.

With acquisition of insights, trainees often feel the need to have a one-on-one counseling. This service is readily available in our offices or at the organization’s premises. A combination of training and professional counseling enhance employees’ performance and productivity and demonstrates to the affected employees that the employer is concerned about their general wellbeing. The outcome is a team of empowered and motivated and workers.

I&R emphasizes on the importance of Human Resource professionals to have professional counseling skills if they are to effectively deal with emotionally disturbed employees. Professional counseling skills and techniques enable the Human Resource professionals to do several things that assist the organization increase productivity / performance. HR professionals who possess counseling skills will:-

  • Easily recognize indicators of stressed employee(s)
  • Have ability to assist the stressed employee(s) alleviate their pain by dealing with issues that lead to their being stressed
  • Advice other managers on staff welfare issues
  • Help boost the employees morale and motivation
